Phase Space
The abstract space of all possible states a system can occupy, where each point is one complete condition.
Why it matters now
It turns vague talk of possible futures into geometry. Safe operating spaces, planetary boundaries, and scenario corridors are all phase-space ideas: regions where a system can sit without breaking. Drawing the boundary explicitly is what converts a warning into a navigable map.
